"More Homes For Snettisham But What Needs To Happen First?" |
A proposal for 31 new homes is raising familiar questions about traffic, drainage and whether local services are ready to keep up. |

Another 31 homes could be built in Snettisham if plans are approved by the council.
For many people, the biggest question isn't whether the village should grow. It's whether the roads, drainage and local services are ready before more homes are added.
The proposed development is on land near Beach Road and the A149.
Snettisham Parish Council has raised concerns about the plans, including extra traffic, flooding, drainage and the pressure more homes could put on local infrastructure.
That doesn't mean the plans have been turned down.
It means those concerns will need to be considered before a final decision is made.
If you've never followed a planning application before, here's what happens next.
The council will look at comments from organisations such as highways and drainage experts, along with feedback from local people, before deciding whether the development should go ahead.
If permission is eventually given, the developer may also have to make changes or help pay for improvements before building starts. For many residents, the questions are simple.
Those are the answers people will be looking for as the application moves forward.
We'll keep following the story and explain any decisions in plain English as they happen.
What do you think?
